Howdy!
So i recently picked up a 91 240 as a project. It needed a ton of work but the price was right and im a sucker for 240s.
Overdrive doesn't kick in. All the wires were ripped off the solenoid so i went with the block off plate and still no overdrive. Ive tried disconnecting the kickdown cable but still nothing. Im going to flush it as the fluid looks old but now I'm hesitant in case the trans needs replaced. Any suggestions? Think if I flush it i could get 4th gear back? Thanks!!
