I just need the portion of the "fix it guide" or whatever there is out there to show how to replace or repair my clutch cable due to the fork on the end broke and I'm trying to replace with new clutch cable but don't know where to start with any of it besides already buying new cable .... Having a heck of a time finding ANYONE in my area who is willing or able to handle fixing this issue (at an affordable price). I have been without my car for 6 months now because of a $20 part!! I just need pics of how to get to it to change it and if I have to have them pull or drop transmission or what, I'm so confused by all of it.....H E L P !! I don't
have hundreds to pay Volvo mechanic, single mom on a waitress' wages so I have to try to do myself or with the help of "non-volvo owners" ....NOT AN EASY TASK! So anyone who can lead me down the right path and the easiest, most inexpensive way I WOULD ABSOLUTELY GREATLY APPRECIATE YOU AND ANY HELP YOU OFFER UP!!!!!

basically the tranny has to come out to replace the clutch fork. If its just the clutch cable needs replaced then its easy and the tranny stays in. Where are you located? I bought a bentley manual off amazon it will be the best investment you will ever spend if you plan to work on you volvo yourself. Send me your email. I will help you, I have pulled my tranny 3 times this year chasing a rattling noise. about to drop it for #4 but putting a rebuilt one in.
