Default Problem after installing xenon headlight bulbs

Hello I ordered some of the super bright headlight bulbs off ebay to install on my 88 240. I installed them and turned my car on, and none of my headlights, brake lights, or tail lights worked at all. After replacing my head light bulbs with standard ones, and replacing the tail light circuit boards, everything started working again, but I can't get the brake lights to work. Any ideas?

The link between the front and rear bulbs is a little odd, but one thing the have in common is the bulb failure relay. I assume you checked the fuses.

Yes, I checked the fuses and tested the blub failure relay. Still can't get any brake lights. The brake lights don't have to have the 3 prong bulb holder do they? I used all 2 prong bulb holders on the tail light assemblies because the 3 prong was going to tear my new circuit board.

I'm pretty sure they use the 3 prong holders - one for brake, one for running, and one for a common ground connection.

Alright well atleast I found out what the problem was. Now I'm trying to recall, are both the bottom red lens brake lights? Or are all 3 red lens brake lights? (minus the middle bottom of course)

Only the outer, lower positions are the brake lights.
