question on 940's new to Volvos -
Hello all - I am very new to Volvos. Have a question that I realize I should be able to find by researching - but I'm not certain I know what to look for. I just bought a 1994 940 sedan w/ 184K miles. It is a 4 cylinder non-turbo. I started looking into replacing the timing belt - but mine does not have that sticker on the t-belt cover that tells me what engine it is - ie: B230, B234, etc. Is there a way I can tell ? Also - is this an interference engine that I need to be concered about getting the belt replaced ASAP ?
Thanks in advance -

It's non interference engine B230. That year they are only Turbo or Not. I wouldn't worry about the belt, if it breaks then do it... Or take a look to see how it looks although this is not all that certain as far as predicting how long it will last.
