How do I remove the rear seat back on an 86 wagon? I flopped the seat bottom forward, but the seat back seems to be held in by two pivot pins and I can't get it out!
Ok it's a tight spot little finger and patients; I have neither.
Remove headrest (if their black and have inserts send them to me they're always in your way anyway)
Bench released and flop fwd.
8 in med/LG flat tip. (Not your favorite).
Down between rear wheel well and seat bottom. See pic What you cant see becuaae its facing down towars the floor🤔
Hey btw: take a rachetchstrap, bungee free up both hands and prop the overlap up out of your way just vertical will do. She's so smart! 😉
As seen from mounted position (TWSS!) YOU PRI or COUNTER-LEVER THE POST OUT towards the wheel well over the back hooks and pull seat bottom vertically to full release. Good for you? Rinse lather repeat opposite side. Give the other side a full release. Nice! Again pull out vertically. The post head must clear brack hooks nxt pic Its awkward, tight, but much easier then its made out to be. Actually very simple and you dont need to get all Schwarzenegger more like PeeWee Herman. VOILA! PIèce de ré·sis·tance!! I'm assuming that's the easy part of the 93 Wagon rear seat latch& cable/wire repair (Modification with bike break cable) Next on, My wife showed me. Oops
