ok heres the deal my girl has a 850 turbo wagon and it comes with the rear child seat. my question is how do you get it down , it will come out about 4-5 inches and stop ?? is there a lock that im just not seeing here

or is it something interanlly

please any help is greatly appreciated

There are two Torx screws fastening the seat to the car. Remove them and take the seat out. Once you have it out you will be able to see why it is not opening. Probably a lack of lubrication or too much dirt. Piece of cake .

*my girlfriend loves you now, and is leaving me for you* No, really, thanks dude. we had the old 60 split of the seat that had to be taken out of the car when she got it because the woman that had it before her was an inept broad and chopped the seat belts. So we just took that one apart to see how it worked instead of ruining the new one, and sure enough, we saw that the locking cable in there wasn't coming undone when we released it.
