Default Replacing Engine Mounts

How many labor hours should a shop charge for changing the transmission mount and the two front engine mounts on a '93 940?

Also, are the only parts I need just the mounts themselves? No brackets or assemblies or anything?

Honestly, if you don't know these questions. I don't think you have the right experience to work on the car.

I actually won't be working on the car. I'm getting different quotes from different shops and was wondering which one I should believe. I'm also thinking of buying the parts from FCP to avoid retail markup.

If they charge more than an hour each they are ripping you off. And that's very generous-in reality it takes much less time... The tranny mount should be less... They are all super easy, Mechanics 101! Please, do tell what they want for labor and parts!

Aftermarket engine mounts tend to fall apart sooner than genuine Volvo parts. I would buy the mounts from Volvo.

Labor should be about an hour for both engine mounts and a little less for the tranny mount.
