Default Seeking: Driver side front red leather seat

Hi Folks,

I am new to the forum and my very first posting on this site. First of all, what a great site!!

I am looking for a perfect no tears or rips front driver seat for my 86 740 GLE 4-dr sedan. My 86 740 is dark gray with red interior.

Would you know where I can find this seat or can you just replace the skins instead??

Thank you in advance.

J

You can find the seat in a junkyard. Also, you'd have better luck getting a PASSENGER seat and adopting it to the driver's side-the bottom cushion is quite easy, the back takes a little more effort.

I can make you brand new skins. Here are the ones I just made for my 850

Wow, those skins do looks nice!! What are you charging for the new front seat skins? How hard are they to remove the skins off these seats??

Please let me know.

Thanks,

J

The 740 seats look pretty straight forward. Can you send me a few pics of them? They are fairly easy to remove and replace. Removing existing hog rings to remove the old and installing new hog rings to install, I'd include instructions.

I'll send you a PM.
