Hi all. I am thinking of buying a '91240 wagon, but the only down side is that I live in the north east, where salt is perfusely used on the roads to prevent ice.

Would a 240 rust if it is a daily driver on a major road with salt on it? I have read that you should clean the car once a week to prevent from rust! In the end, this all would be very costly, and there is no way I can move to the sunshine state just yet!

About what year, does Volvo start making rust free cars - 95 or 96?

Any suggestions?
