Default Starting problems

I have to press on the gas when turning the key just to get it started up. I also have to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it from dying. It happens like two times a day. any ideas why its doing that?

Default RE: Starting problems

Fuel pump failing or blocked (check filter sock and short rubber line in the tank).
Airflow meter.
Fuel pump relay.

Depending on exact model, I'd look at airflow meter first.
