After yesterday drive, the volvo factory radio seems to have some static on all channels. But when I tap the radio, it goes away. Could it be a loose wire to the antenna or just due to the rain we have? I want to fix it, but the new radio deck is coming so rather wait to take the radio out.

 

Ok, let me assume your mean on AM, and FM. BTW, what model is your Radio. I can probably give you an answer by Friday. I work nights, and respond only when awake, mainly Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays.

However, have been in the Car Audio technology field for a few years, of the top of my head, it doesn't sound pretty(replacement), but let me think(sleep) on it.
