Stripped overdrive bolt
So I was going to put in an overdrive eliminator and when to take off the second bolt to find out the past owner had stripped it. Trying to get a clamp on that thing is near impossible. Has any one ever had this problem? How should I go about getting that bolt off.

Like any stripped bolt. Drill it, cut it, use visegrips, never a pleasant job.

if its just the head that's stripped, you can try to find bolt extractor sockets at Harbor Freight or Lowes (they sell the Craftsmen product line now). us plenty of PB Blaster a day or so in advance, then if you have room, consider heating then chilling the bolt to help crack it loose. If you have to drill it, use a properly sized hardened bit designed for drilling into steel - it will go much faster, then tap out the hole
