Default Is there a flame guard on the B230FT?

I just got off the phone with a tech from IPD and they informed me that there isn't a "Flame Guard" on the B230FT. But, I was looking in my new Chilton service manual and it says thaere is one. Can anyone confirm which is correct? I am getting my 92 740 turbo ready for the road and I want to replace the flame guard if it has one. Thanks for any help. ~Matthew Hovis

The IPD guy was correct, there is no flame trap on the Turbo engines.

But the turbo's crankcase vent system CAN become clogged, see
