either 1989 or 1990 740gl is for sale at a local place...176k...leather inside in ripped up a lot...hes asking $900 but i want to get him down to maybe $500? should i take this deal can i trust this car for the next 4 years of commuiting to college?

 

No way of telling how a 20 year old car will hold up. You can take it for a 1 hour test ride and have a mechanic or car inspector check it out. If it cost under $1,000 it must need work. If the car last a year count your blessings and get another one.
