I have 2 740T's '90 and '87. Both have developed trunk leaks. I cannot figure out where the water is coming from. I have checked the trunk seals and tail lights but cannot seem to find the source. Since I have two cars with the same exact symptoms, I thought others may have similar problems and solutions. Anyone out there with ideas? Thanks.

 

know what I do to find leaks? I dump a bucket of water over the said area....not even kidding

How big is the leak?

 

Correct me if im wrong but im gonna guess both car have a sunroof.If im correct check on both sides you should see a hose on each side in the trunk.They are the sunroof drian hoses.Make sure the hoses are connected and aren't cracked.
