has anyone ever messed with a 740 turbo diesel? what kind of power can it produce? is it worh buying? any reply will help me out.

 

Power aside...i would think the fuel economy would be worth buying it over.

 

any one know much about the engine? the guy im might buy this off of says it a 6cyl, but some info ive found online says they came with the inline 5 diesel made by volkswagon. its only 900 bucks...and needs a new headgasket...pertty clean though 178K miles.
