I was at a junkyard the other day and I saw a 740 turbo with a nice set of alloy wheels on it (4, no spare). Did not seem to have any curb rash at all. I asked the guy at the desk how much and he said $207 if I didn't want the tires or $40 less if I had four steel wheels to donate (I don't). Is this a reasonable price? I was hoping to get them for around $25-$35 each. I'm presuming these wheels will fit any 240/740/940?

 

which wheels were they? Volvo 200/700/900 Alloy Wheels

draco (15") were fairly common on 740T's. later ones might have had Hydra (16")

$200 for 4 factory alloys in good shape is a fine price, they are worth nearly that much as scrap aluminum.

 

They were Draco 1330400-1
I actually think they are more attractive than the 16in wheels.
Maybe I'll go back and get them if they are still there.

 

ah, I still think the hydra look pretty good on a 740/940 wagon... especially a silver one :-p
