googling the PN on the side, appears to be a ABS relay.

btw, thats a scary amount of rust for the interior. makes me think this car could have some major safety issues underneath like rusted suspension brackets.

 

Not as scary as the rear passenger floor pan. The car was recently at an Indy Volvo shop for a suspension check. A gland nut had worked itself loose. They fixed that... and pointed out that the floor pans were kinda rusted out.

I had to get rid of a 1966 VW Squareback for exactly that, big old hole in the floor.

 

What is this? It broke while I was adding atf. It's a 2001 v70. Not turbo.

 

a V70 isn't a 240/740/940, its a completely different car, based on the 850

that said, if that big black thing its off of is the cold air intake, it looks like an engine breather hose. if that black thing it broke off of is the radiator hose, then its a coolant hose, probably for the heater or maybe overflow bottle return...
