Swapping transmissions from an aw70/71 to an m47. Now that I dont have overdrive, what do I do with the overdrive relay and respective wiring? I have not seen much in the way of wiring guidelines for this swap, other than the reverse lights being necessary. I am also curious about the wiring that went to the shifter.
Any assistance would be appreciated! Thanks!

 

just unplug the OD relay, and secure the wiring to the shifter button and transmission OD solenoid out of the way. if you have to cut the wires, insulate them so they don't short into anything.
