Hi everybody, im new to volvos and I already have issues with the abs system. I was hoping that someone could help me figure it out. Here is the problem ,you get in the car start it and start backing out hit the brakes and it feels like the abs is coming on. You could be driving at very slow speeds and hit the brakes and the abs come on. You could be parking the car hit the brakes and the abs come on. Its crazy!!!! I already cleaned the front sensors but dont know if they are good. I do have some service light coming on and off all the time. I dont know if its abs related and I dont know if I could retrieve abs codes. The car is a 1990 760 with 85k original miles but dont look like it .please somebody help me!!!! thanks in advance.

 

Tryy cleaning all of them again.

You know I couldnt find the rear abs sensors. Thanks again on the trouble code how to.
