Default 1995 960 fuel delivery issue?

Quick back story: I bought a 1995 960 with 167k on the clock, that sat unused for 7 years (old fuel issue?). I jumped it and it started right up. Added fresh gas, put a new battery and tires on and it ran great for about 500 miles. My car idled slightly rough for one day. next day would not start, but does turn over fine. I replaced the fuel filter, checked that the fuel pump is working. I'm getting fuel to the pressure regulator. Fuel drips out of the release valve on the back of the rail. Ignition seems ok, pulled coil pack to check spark, ok. It runs fine for a couple seconds when I spray brake cleaner in the intake. So I'm thinking possible fuel pressure issue? I'm thinking its not injectors because they wouldn't all go at once. No check engine light so I'm wondering if I should even bother with getting a code reader. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Try holding the throttle open. Does it run?

This car might be one with two fuel pumps, too.

The pressure test port on the fuel rail has the same threads as a tire stem and the ford test port. So any test gauge should work.

Exactly. Should have minimally 40 # pressure. That is not a drip. That is a spray as mentioned.

1. Fuel pump relay ?
2. Fuel pump?
3. Clogged fuel filter? (unlikely but possible since you ran 7 year old fuel through the system ).
