Exclamation 740 fuel issue. Wiring help!!!

PLEASE, someone help me find some really good wiring diagrams for the 700 series. Especially the fuel system wiring. I need to know what the wires do, and where they go. Need to figure out what makes my 740 prime, and pump. Just swapped a new pump in, and need to test before I look further in to the system. Want this wagon to run now! Such a sweet complete 5 spd turbo wagon barn find, and I don't want to just give up yet. Thanks for the help.

this forum is for the 6 cylinder models, you probably want to repost in the 240/740/940 section.

the wiring diagrams vary from year to year. a 740 turbo could be LH2.2 or LH2.4 injection, I believe the crossover was 1990.

I have the Green Book wiring diagrams for 1992 740/940 here.

Hi, would you try to change your fuel pump (inside fuel tank) to S80 or S40 fuel pump inside tank. You have to bypass the fuel pump (in the middle/the biger one/ under seat). Hope your car will be fine...

fold the normal back seats down completely. lift the flaps that are just behind the backs of said back seats, and under those flaps, you'll find 2-3 screws to remove them entirely. the access plate is under there. you don;t mess with the third row seats or their covers at all, just leave those closed (ok, some of the wiring might be under the carpet above the spare tire, I forget).

oh, to post a new thread, go to the 240/740/940 forum, https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-240-740-940-12/ and click the 'New Thread' button.
