Default 760 looks crooked

Hello all,

I'm new to Volvo and to this site. I just bought a 1989 Gold 760 Turbo with 170,000 miles on it. It'sa great car....I just realized yesterday that when I looked at the car from the back the car seems to tilt on the driver side....I looked at the rear wheels and the space between the tire and the frame is smaller on the driver side than the passenger side. The previous owner told me he just changed the spring.
Any Idea??

Thanks

Also, now i can hear a "Clunk" from the rear wheel on the passenger side everytime I pass on a little hole or bump on the road.

Thanks for any advice.

Springs should be replaced in pairs... The 760 has the IRS and is tricky and expensive to fix. Getting rid of the Nivomat is a good start-you can put regular shocks without much problem.
