92 960 , 2.9L, 6 cylinder won't satrt
Hi, I realy need your help. I have a car. It's 92, 960, 2.9L , 6 cylinder. Timing belt was broken.12 valves were bent. I replaced them[12 valves]. At Frist , I could not find crank. mark.My co-worker told me to set # 1 cylinder at dtc. I did what he said. Car won't start. Then I found all timing marks . and lined up all timing marks . But car still won't start. Then I changed all spark plugs.I checked all basic things. They are all good. I saw all injector pulse, 45 psi fuel pressure, all plugs have spark when moved all plugs from cylinder,
engine compression is around 120psi.All cylinders have almost same compression.I thoght 120psi may be to low. I put some oil in each of cylinders. Then I re-checked compression. It increased to 240psi. all cylinder were same . But car still won't start. I re-checked compression again . This time it was 150psi.I don't know why my car won' start, even this car has fuel pressre, right timing, injector pulse, engine compression and spark. The car just crank,And has "po ,po,po... sound, Could not start. It seems have timing problem. I am sure all timing marks are at right position.I know there is something missing.Any ideals, please let me know.

Look very close some of the early cars they had 2 sets of marks on the pulleys. Also did you make sure the crank was on the comression stroke? Also 1 other Quiestion when you removed the intake and the harness from the bottom did you reinstall the ground wires? They are on top of the engine mount. There is a black wire loom that bolts up there and the is a ground wire that is supposed to be there. If that is not connected it will stop it from running.
