93 960 auto tranny?

I have a 1993 960 with an auto trans that acts up every once and a while.Sometimes it feels like the car starts out in second or third gear.What would cause this? Soleniod?

Haven't got the codes yet.Is it a common problem with the trans?

Kind of usually either the PNP switch fails or the mode selsct switch.

Thanks.I will change the neutral safety switch and the mode select switch and see what happens.will post results.
