Just found the cause of the #3 cylinder misfire. Oil pooling and seeping down to spark plug. Cleaned the coil and plug and it fires 100 %. I am of the thought that the oil filler cap gasket might be worn and is the reason the oil is accumulating. Does this sound possible/plausible?

 

Yes, the oil filler gasket would be my first suspect. If the head has not been tampered with in a repair that is, other wise the o ring at the bottom of the hole is shot and is seeping. But usually it is the filler gasket.
