Just managed to pick up a J reg 960 with full VSH for £270 ( just got to love ebay sometimes)

I have a H Reg 760 which is going soon which has a towbar and i was wondering if the 760 towbar would fit onto the 960??

The 760 is a H reg and the 960 is a J reg.

any ideas?

 

According to the Towsure catalogue (http://www.towsure.com) the towbar VL 698 fits the 700 saloon and estate 1982 - 1994 and the 900 saloon and estate 1990 - 1994. So it looks as though your luck is holding.

The 700 is not mentioned in the on-line catalogue but I have an old hard copy which does.

 

By the way this forum is in the US so H reg/J reg mean very little to many of the members. Better to use the year.
