Default fitting a towbar

Until now I have used a 740 GLT with fitted towbar to tow the family caravan. I've just bought a 940 estate 2.3 LPT (1989) and want to know how to fit the towbar I've just bought on ebay, it is described as "on plate:- type 20, original volvo part, arengo parts AB". I particularly want to know if the rear trim under bumper must be removed permanently, what size bolts and how many, and if the electrics fit via a plugin connection at the rear; and if so do I need a volvo kit, as I have not seen one in the car? Finally, I have not been able to find any reference on google to this particular towbar, so how can I be sure it is indeed suitable for a 940?
