Default 960 intermittment starting problem

My 960 wagon occassionally won't turn over when the ignition key is turned to start. The idiot lights all come on. The old and new battery are fine. It is occasional and sometimes works for days without a hitch. When it occurs, if I push the gearshift forward it does start, so i'm guessing its the Park Microswitch buried under the shifter which is flaky.[:@]

Any body else come across this?

There is whats called the park nuetral position switch(PNP) switch on the side of the transmission. That tells the computer what gear you are in.Either it is on its way out or out of adjustment.
