Default 97 Volvo 960

I wonder if someone could help with a question that seems that I cannot find anywhere on the internet but I think this may be the site to go to. Anyway, I have a 97-960 that I took to the mechanic since my "check engine light" was staying on and he read that the "Camshaft Position Sensor" was the culprit. I was wanting to order the part and replace myself by I cannot find where the bugger is on the engine. The symptoms that I have is that from time to time during acceleration, I get a sudden "jump/hesitation/misfire" for just a moment of time and it then goes back to normal. I may go several days without this happening. Also, I see two different styles that the parts folks display on their website. I really do not want to order until I see the existing part on the vehicle but cannot find the location...HELP, please. Thanks.

Cam shaft sensors are mounted on the ends of the cam, usually the end of the exhaust cam, for that car, firewall end.
