Default adio Help

Hi I just got this car from my Dad, He's getting to old to drive any longer and the car is great. But the radio does not work I checked out the instruction booklet and found the fuses I think, the book refers to a 3 amp fuse but in the fuse box in fuse holder 18 there is a 10 amp, in 32 there is a 15 amp and in 33 there is a 10 amp. when I remove these the blinking light goes out then when I put them back it askes for the code which I have done and it works once , but when I turn the car off the light is still flashing and the radio will not work again. Any one have any suggestions to what's wrong before I yank this out of the car.
is there a 3 amp fuse in the radio it's self or behind it?

Please help I like listening to cassets while drive long trips.

ThankYou again for any help
