on my 1988 760 turbo everythign as worked fine but then all of a suddon when i went to start it in the morning the fan kicked it on high wich it does when it is at high speed but when u went to turn it down nothing happined all the buttins do nothing. I unhooked it and the fan stopped working the buttons still light up...please help

 

The blower motor might be bad.
Anymore things happening with it?

 

no it just blows warm air and the buttons and **** do nothing but it lights up

 

Next quiestion is it a manual control system or and electronic control system?

Electronic control shows Temp. Manual control just shows colors.

That is an electronic system.
The fan control and temp and direction ***** do nothing at all?

 

yes they do nothing at all and when u press the cirtulation button or ac off the red light around them dont come on.

 

I would guess that the control module is bad.

 

yah im thinkin that too but i dont know where to get a new one

 

Try checking the local junk yards first.
