Default engine computer

I have a 760 turbo,'85 and there is no signal to the rear injector. Since the drivers in the computer send the signal (if i understand it right) don't I need a new computer, or is there something else I need to check? Help from a tech? I'm slow but not Joe!

The computer sends signal yes. But if the computer wasn't sending it then none would work.

I would check the wiring good.

I will try to find a wiring schematic on the car to trace the wiring first and try to see which wire out of the computer controls that harness. thanks for the boost in the right direction. Any suggestions on a schematic? Maybe the library? Boss 302

I wish I could help on that. The wiring Diagrams I have are for 940 and newer cars.

Tech Thanks alot for the advice it was right on. The wire (green) from the inj. went to what looked like a 4-pack of capacitors at the fender well and it had broke off. I soldered it on and it runs great. 300,000 miles here I come! Boss 302

Default RE: trans. electric down shift sol.

tech: I have a trans that stays in third gear sometimes [ARROW ON DASH IS LIT] the button on shifter makes no difference in controling the light. My question is, can I remove this sol. or somehow negate its use? I am limited to about 60 mph at 3000 rpm when it is on. any suggestions will be tried. thanks! p.s. I have a 85 760 turbo 2.3

First check the over drive relay located in the back of the Fuse panel on the right side. That is known to go bad.
