I am attempting to replace the lower ball joints on the 240,000 mile 96 960, I have searched high and low for instructions or video on the step by step process. I have found info on every other Volvo but the 960.

I received the parts today and plan on removal and install this weekend, PLEASE ADVISE???

 

They are straight forward. Volvo has a specific tool, 5259, but any generic pickle fork will work. Rapping the side of the arm with a hammer while prying down will remove them as well...particularly if they are worn.
