Wow. Where to start...Do you have spark to the plugs? Have checked to see if the injectors are firing? If the cam belt breaks, it won't start. Pull the oil cap and have some one turn the starter key...you should see the cam doing it's thing. If you see nothing moving, the cam belt is broken. Does the car have fuel? Is the gauge faulty? You mention the fuel pumps so I'm guessing someone concluded it was a fueling issue? Near the battery there is a fuse holder w/, I believe, a 25 amp fuse. It often corrodes as a result of it's proximity to the battery. Pull the dipstick and smell the oil...if it smells strongly of gasoline you could have a bad fuel pressure regulator. There's a bunch more things to check but this will get you a place to begin.
