Apologies if this has been discussed before - I did try and check.
Our 1996 Volvo 960 is unwell It did used to start first time every time - until fairly recently. It then would start from cold straight away, but once even slightly warmed up it wouldn't re-start. But after waiting a while and then trying again several times, it would suddenly spring perfectly into life.
However, yesterday the car wouldn't even start from cold - nothing. A further check shows there is no spark so something has disconnected the ignition. Any suggestions as to the cause will be most gratefully accepted.
