Default No Start, Very Odd? 94 volvo 960

I have a 94 volvo 960 that has been quite good to me until I got my volkswagon it's being mean to me! Well my car won't start it did one day and the next night it didn't! It's not the PNP because it turns it just won't start it's almost like it's getting choked. I am getting fuel to the rail and everything but it just won't start the RPM goes up a bit to about 500rpm but doesn't go higher! I am assuming it's a ignition problem because I checked the fuel codes on the OBD1 and got nothing! I don't have a slot to diagnose my ignition is this normal? Any help would be much appreicated I love the car and this is really the first trouble I have had with it! The car was fine but I didn't drive it for a day or 2 and now it won't start! I think it has a mind of it's own since I bought my passat it seems to get mad at me lol no joke!!! When I drive my passat and go back to the volvo I have to fiddle with the PNP switch, and when the passat was in the garage 3 times the volvo never drove better and since I got the passat back finally and it is perfect I have been wanting to drive it and now my car won't start LMAO, I love my Car the wife wants me to get rid of it and this is a good escuse HELP! I diagnosed my car and I got 2 codes both of which were in the electornic transmisson slot (#1) One was 2-1-3 and the other was 3-1-3 I am pretty sure that these codes have nothing to do with my no start prolem and problaly have to deal with my bad PNP switch. Can anyone tell me what these mean?

213 it the throttle position sensor.
313 is faulty PNP switch.

What pins do you have in the OBDI plug?

On Connector A I have slots 1,2 and 3 and 6(ignition) and 7(insturment cluster) are missing. Figure thats normal? Is it possiable that my RPM sensor is the problem I mean it just seems odd it just stops running with no sign of trouble? Can the TPS be at fault I determined thats what the code was from good old brickboard but figured that wasn't the problem, help would be much appreciated

Very possible the RPM sensor is bad.
That would be the Cam sensor. Look at the plug for it and see if it is falling apart.

A bad TPS would stop it from running as well.

Where is cam sensor located? I don't even have a Hayes or Bently 960 book lol never had anything major go wrong, only got a 740 one and it still has the hall sensor? So would the RPM and/or TPS sensor cause the car to have no symptoms before the no start?

Yes they could.

The cam sensor is on the back of the Head. I believe on the Intake cam. It is held in with 2 t-45 screws.
But check the white plug very good and see if it is falling apart.

The white plug between the head and the firewall looks fine

Maybe time to look at the TPS and PNP switch.
