Bi-Xenon retrofit

RE: Bi-Xenon retrofit
It's possible to retro fit almost anything. Some great resources are:
www.HIDplanet.com
www.xenondepot.com
Check their forums. I think one of those sites will retro fit for a fee. I'm not sure. You may try a quick google query.

Well they are installed on the low beams. So far so good, but there sure are a lot of extra wires lieing around to be coiled up. I may go in and shorten the wires that run from the ballast to the battery when I have an opportunity. In addition the bulbs show up any defects in aiming of the headlights very clearly.
I have not decided whether I will also do the high beams.

One issue- The bulb failure light is now on so I need to find and pull the wire from the headlight sensor relay that goes to that bulb.
Should be a small job

Did you retrofit in projectors or just a plug and play HID kit? From I understand, to get the bulb failure message to go away you have to fit the factory wiring with some resistor to "trick" the circuit into thinking the factory halogen is still installed. I have seen it on this forum, a quick search should yeild the results you are looking for. Also check, HIDplanet.com I think they have some info on the volvo HID setup thing.
