The 960 MAF should work and be an upgraded one.
People are putting them on the turbo cars when they start modding them.

I think it is slightly richer but will not really affect the running. I think if you up the boost some you will be fine.

ok guys,

i went to autozone and got a universal air intake...
i used the adapters and the short cone filter with the bone yard mass air flow sensor.

well, i got some power and boost back, i dont think its quite right yet, but at least i can get 0-60 without feathering the gas..

i still hear the big swooshing under acceleration.... maybe its the air sucking that i am hearing? i dont know.

i was thinking, is there anything under the passenger dash that would cause that?

also, now it idles rough. there is a black screw on the where the intercooler hose connects to the motor, when i adjust it in, the idle gets slao, and out is fast...... is it an idle screw or a fuel mix screw?

and if so, and there any other adjustments i can check?

Since you put the cone filter on...you will hear a lot ofsuckingnow and you should hear the stock CBV when you let off the gas.

The swooshing under the dashis confusing me a little...It could be AC system (it is right in that area)?

I think the thing you are adjusting is the Idle speed. It is right next to the trottle body.
Not sure about afjusting anything else...

Good Luck

Ok, i have been driving the 760 for a few days. its better than it was last week but still isn't right, completely.

the best way i can describe the noise i have is:

with the blower fan off.........when i accelerate and the turbo gauge goes into the white, it sounds like the blower fan is spinning on high......i think thats where my power is going.....( could vaccumbe pushed into there instead of the turbo?)
it will be fine on flat highway but as soon as i get to an incline where the motor wants to use the turbo i still lose some power, i hear the noise, and it upshifts to a lower gear........

i was thinking the fuel filter again, but i just replaced it less than a year ago, along with the rest of the tune up.

if i knew exactly what vaccum lines went where in the intake...that might help.

here is where mine are now:

fuel pressure regulator is above the idle screw
from the top down, the first goes to the heater,
the next are even and one goes to the turbo, the other to the gauge
and the last goes behind the intake to possibly the pcv?

before the problem i was getting 21-22 mpg and this past week i cant get better that 16-18.........

Im still thinking you might have a Boost leak at one of the hoses.

Have you tried to have someone sit still with the car in gear and (Holding the brakes and e-brake on) give the car gas and go into boost and look under the hood for leaks around the hoses?
