Wiring issue, strange erratic throttle at high speed
1996 960 I6 I may have bumped a few things trying to fix a coolant leak. Coolant leak actually got a little better, but may have exacerbated a new or exisiting leak w/ gasket POSSIBLY. Cyl compression was really good all throughout. from rear to front, I think: ~220, 215, 227, 227, 224, 227. I wrote them down, but these are really close.
Backstory:
It began when I traced a very possibly leaky hose (heater core to rear of block [with that vacuum servo]). I could barely tell initially using a mirror to observe for leaks while running and stethescope to hear the air seeping from squeezing the top main hose upfront by probing the 90* T screwed into block while engine off. Once I removed it an found a perpendicular cut inside the hose. It may have developed from the clamp pressing into the hose, being old too. Needless to say, I cut some length and reinstalled, no kinks, no issues. On a side, it did start leaking again, and only when it starts cold. I feel the new leak from what best observations I could manage w/ a mirror is that it began weeping from block/head. Once warm, the car seems to hold pressure again because leading up to this day, I noticed no pressure after driving some distance. I could open the fill bottle cap and absolutely no pressure. No overheating on gauge neither. Now, the level remained constant for a ~ 30mile drive. City and highway.
Anyways....
In the process of this diagnosis last night, the cam.pos. sensor fell apart into dust. I fixed that w/ a duetch connector I had and thought I saved the day. The following day, I drive city traffic no problems for about 30+/- minutes avg 45 mph, no issues stopping, going, shifting etc. Once I get onto the highway and merge, then get up to 70 mph, the tach seemed to start acting erratic and the throttle jostled when I go to lightly let off the pedal. Like the slight decrease in gas/pedal dipped the throttle way too much, then back up to where, mechanically, the pedal cable is pulling. Almost as if TPS was faulting. I do not have a reliable manual for this car and Ive searched and searched. If anyone has engine schematics, or diagrams, I would be eternally grateful. I may have bumped a few other things that are severely corroded as well. This morning when I got to Oveido from St cloud, (about 35miles) I noticed I was smoking from the motor bay. I've either developed a crack in the valve cover (I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A REPLACEMENT, just FYI) from the pooling of oil atop the valve cover. it was cleaned last night which barely had oil about the top. i was kneeling on it to look down the back last night. Its not the valve cover gasket, I'm 100% sure. It may be a crack I can't see. While in the parking garage and idling, I couldn't see anything seeping out. Going to clean really good before I leave and have another look. I may be the cap, but why would it be the cap all of a sudden. I think I cracked it somewhere while CAREFULLY kneeling on it. Gonna wipe and check later to try and determine a crack or not.
The Main questions:
Can anyone send me electrical diagrams for this motor? What is the white/ red tracer coming from top valve cover? I found its not plugged into anything, just hanging into the bracket w/ CPS connector and the other connector. Does TPS wiring come back here? What connectors aside from what I just mentioned are hanging on that rear bracket off the head? Does anyone have a valve cover to sell?

Update: Drove it home. Noticed the erratic behavior doesn't occur driving > 60mph. Above that and it does that weird erratic throttle when I let off accel pedal and will sort of go away when I maintain or accel. Again, the coolant bottle seemed to retain same levels before trip and some pressure. I think the gasket may be compromised cause I will see the drip above bellhousing suggesting its coming from somewhere on the back end of head/block. I'll have another look, but I dont think its the screw in plug, freeze plug, nor the threaded t that goes to heatercore hose, I'm sure I see it bubbling out the Hgasket... (about 35 miles; highway and city). This problem seems to have relaxed a bit, but I know when I can! i'll just pull the head, check for plane, new bolts etc. but not a priority.
Oil was heavily pooled up and showed overflow by the pass rear end of valve cover, right atop the Cam Pos Sensor. Also passenger side head, right atop the exhaust. But I'm pretty sure NOW, its been leaking from the cap cause there was new slick that I wiped off before the trip. Cut some rubber gasket and felt really good closing. Hopefully another problem put to rest.
Did notice CEL and pulled P0340 - camp pos sensor come up. This is new. May have come on this morning, but can't recall looking for it. Oil may have gone into the sensor so I'm testing now and will pull it to see if oil seeped into it somehow. I also noticed crummy and completely deteriorated plug ends for that item that is conjoined to the throttle cable all on the firewall. I'll grab a photo. Its bad and I can slide the two wires strait out. Going to pull that, try to clean the connector and see if I can hold them in place and inject hot-glue. Fingers crossed that works!

Whats the pin sequence for the harness to Cam Pos Sensor? I have from sensor to harness: pink-red, green-yellow/blue trace, grey-grey/green. While running, I get 12 v on the yellow/blue trace and 2 on the red.
Update:
I pinned them wrong. I swapped the green to yellow/blue and code went away. Reved beyond 4k, zero erratic behavior. Still dribbling oil out of someplace. Coolant's stayed pretty constant. Guess I'll go read a book.
