The air conditioning in my 1997 850 wagon has started to malfunction. I am getting both "cool" air and warm air out of the center vents. The cold air is definitely not what it should be, but I am stumped by the warm air coming out at the same time. Anything I can check before it costs me a lot of money?

 

Where is the Mix **** set at?
Try moving it and see if it changes.

The Mis **** is to the Side of the Vent shut off ****.

 

I was in a similar situation a few months ago. It could also be that the blower is not working properly. A new blower motor and power stage might be the solution.
