going with a good used head had it cut and checked i need tork specs please...... also can you convert degrees to ft pounds???? how do i delete my post about the valves????????thanks to all.............................pete

 

You can NOT convert the degrees to ft lbs. There is another thread here about that and tech said not to try it either. You can get a gauge to do degrees pretty cheap at AutoZone or Advance. I got one when I did mine.

 

The manual says 15lbs all around, then 37lbs all around, then 130 degrees. Some other heads have worked from the middle to the ends but the 850 manual says right side exaust side is number one, then intake is number two in the sequence, then left side exhaust is number three, then left intake, and back to the right working inward. I dont have the sequence electronically, sorry, but those are the torques.
