2 HVAC system issues
I have a 1995 850 GLT with the manual climate controls and have two issues. Since I bought the car two years ago the heater hasn't been blowing very hot in the winter, but I never really cared enough to do anything about it. I assume it's the thermostat.
But recently a new issue popped up. On both heat and a/c, the blower will only blow on the highest setting (4). On 1, 2, and 3, barely any air comes out. Doesn't matter if I'm set to dash vents, floor vents, defrost, etc.
I'm thinking the two problems aren't related (could be wrong). Is the air speed problem likely the control switch? If so, what exactly is that called and where can I buy one? Finally, how hard it that to replace?
Thanks.
