850 5cyl hard to start on first try

850 5 cyl when you turn switch on first time engine turns over but will not start stop and try second time starts normal.

First thought is that the fuel isn't getting to the engine fast enough to start on the first try. Check your fuel pump, filter, and pressure at the fuel rail.
