Default 850 computer / ecu location
Is the computer for the 1994 850 in the engine compartment or inside the car itself under the dash? If you have a picture that would be even better.

Under the hood between the right head light and the coolant overfow tank. It's in the black box, just behind the OBD-I port. The one of the car and transmission is in there.
