Default 850 for parts 3rd 850 :-)

Went to Detroit tonight, the guy I bought the car from said it had a bad head and would need to be towed home...LOL I drove that car 65-70MPH the whole way with no issues, the heater worked great...so I have me an 850 for parts that will be stripped by saturday...anyone need anything... Basically just a few beanos and cover shipping and you are in b usiness, cuz this vehicle won't make Monday...it will be in the bone yard. Basically uncared for...but motor runs and some good parts although the seats aren't

Yes! I'd like a price on the sunroof framework. My glass is good, tracks messed up I guess. How much for the s-r framework?
Thanks,

Would be great if you guys wanna come pick up stuff, just drop a few bucks my way and take what u need I am takin the head RF headlight, console, heater motor, iacv maf and seat heaters, other than that this puppy is good to go
all panels are straight and all the stuff works really a decent parts car...

front turn sigs are broke

If anyone has some tan front seats with heaters that are in great shape...bring em and you could have any part of this car for a swap...

ok jimb $40 and you pick it up...or you pay for shipping...

If the 2 wood simulated trims around the instrument cluster and the radio will fit my '93, I'd take 'em for a tenner each and the radio wire harness that plugs into the main harness for another ten. If the radio has a face plate/trim, another five? Is the passenger side dash flap over the air bag flat and neat?

One other detail. This is my first Volvo (and it's Volvo's first 850), do we know that the sunroof and other parts would fit my '93?

I have a 1994 850T that I'm getting back on the road... I can use the black molding strips that go from the windshield and up along the roof rail tracks (above the doors) to the rear window. How good is the set on this car? The black plastic cover on my set is cracked and peeling and needs to be replaced.

Hey man I just so happen to need a new hood, right fender, and front right lights. Although I live in Florida. Are you close? If not, the shipping would probably be high right? But how much would you want for these parts?

Pop them off, use a razor blade to cut the rest of the paint off, sand it down a bit, and use a good quality rubberized black paint to coat it. Make 2-3 light coats and allow to dry between each one. I did this with regular cheapo $0.99 black paint from wal-mart and it worked well but if I could do it over I'd buy the expensive rubberized stuff. Be careful to not bend the aluminum strips though because they warp easily, there are some ripples in mine but ultimately it looks 100% better.

Will try that.. as I don't think I'll be able to find another set in better shape. Thanks!
