850 Projector Headlights
ahhhhh i picked up a pair of these

and i'm having a bit of trouble with them
they fit in the 850 fine however i'm having trouble getting them aligned properly and i'm wondering as to why i'm getting a weird design from the bulbs? unless they r supposed to be like this!???:s(mind you the kit came with HID's so i dont know if that should change the way the lights look)

if anybody knows anythign for sure that would be a great help! its hard driving without aligned lights

Yes, the lights are supposed to be like this. That looks normal, I had my projectors look like that before I took them out.

Use this thread to help you aim them Basically they should be aimed perfectly level.
Good job on installing them! Which color temperature are they? I personally get very annoyed with t style cutoff, but tell us how they compare to normal ones.

That is how the beam pattern is suppose to look with projectors. It's normal and has nothing to do with the lights being HID's. It has everything to do with them being projectors, the reflecters and the headlight glass.
ok perfect i'll be doing a little bit of a re setup tonite when the lights out aha
and i think i've mistaken you guys
the HIDS rnt in yet because i thought there was somthing wrong with the beam pattern and wanted that fixed before i did anything else!
aswell what is the best place to hook up the angel eyes to? i was thinking of pairing it with the fogs, so when the fogs turn on so will the angel eyes, good? no?

Yeah, there is no problem, haha. Reap the blue cutoff though! Clear lens's FTW!
What I did was I hooked up my halo's to my turn signal idle, as it turns on no matter what.
If you want to do it that way, go for it.
In a side note, are those OEM Fogs?

Blue cutoff, no. There is a way to make it more blue, but not less blue. The blue is just how the light seperates from the cutoff sheild.
There isn't a way to get rid of the Halogen Cutoff unless you feel like tampering with the projector cutoff sheild.
Nice on the fogs! They don't illuminate much though

ahh damn well i guess it will just have to be!
and i know i bought come brand new clear bulbs for them, they got ALOT whiter but i was expecting a bit more! however whem i install the HID kit for these projectors i'm sure the fogs will just turn into a "for looks" thing anyway aha

they look great but the passenger one looks like it is dimmer or not on at all, compared to the driver side one during day time driving, and seems to point more downward and off centre. the driver side one which is pointing to the centre and seems the brightest. does everyone else have that issue? for the pic up above how far away are you from your garage door?
Ok, I know this sounds dumb but, Why do you have to hook up the halos to a fog light or turn signal idle thing? How do people normally do this? And i assume that HID's are an upgrade to the projector? Are they brighter and how does the reg projector light compare to stock headlights in terms of visibility?
