Hello everyone! I need some help figuring out a problem with my 96 850 glt. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Today I replaced my plugs and cap and rotor. I had to remove the battery to do so. I hooked everything back up and when i opened the drivers door the four ways started blinking and wouldn't shut off until a battery terminal was removed. After disconnecting the terminal I hooked it back up and opened the door with the same result. I tried to start the car and nothing happened when i turned the key. I figured it was the security system that was giving me the problem. I then called the local dealership and they said that I needed to have it towed there and the would take care of it for about $100. I hate dealing with dealerships because they always overcharge! Is there some way to disable the security system or reset it myself?
