Default 850 Temp Sensor Not Working

I have a 1996 850 GLT. I changed the speedometer to one with a temperature read out. Everything works fine except the temperature read out. It just says Lo F. Is there a temp sensor I need to add somewhere too? If so, where is it?

How many 850s do you have? In your other thread you say you have a '97 (although ultimately, this isn't important).

What year did you get the speedo from?

Yes, you need a sensor outside the car to send the temperature input to the display in the car. On our 95 850, the sensor is attatched to the plastic lip on the bottom of the car, behind the front bumper.
