My 1995 850 Turbo has an issue idling when warm. It starts easily and idles smooth normally, but if the weather is hot it will drop below 500 RPM if required to idle for more thana few minutes. It will idle much longer in cool temps. The temp quage shows nomal engine temp and the engine shows no signs of overheating. It will not rev and is very sluggish when I try to get it going. Once it gets moving it seems to clear itself out and picks up revs and then runs fine. It acts like it is running very rich and needs more air. I have a K&N filter, it has had new plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

 

Does the car have a CEL? What have you done to try to fix the problem so far.

 

Yes, and the light is on. I replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor last summer when I had a simular issue but at that time it would quite running and finally just wouldn't restart. It has been fine until recently. I did have a bad hose on the Idle control valve which has been replaced. I also replaced the intake gasket to stop a massive vacumn leak
